Bee College and the Master Beekeeper Program

The Honey Bee Research and Extension Laboratory runs Bee College in Gainesville and other Florida locations. Master Beekeeper is a four-level program. UF's FAQs page says it is fully online. You join at Apprentice. Keepers with two or more years may be able to test out of Apprentice. Requirements are theirs.

As of 2026-08-30, Eventbrite showed sales ended for Spring 2026 Bee College, March 20 to 21 in Gainesville, and for Summer 2026, August 14 to 15 in Bristol. The Bee College page still talked about summer registration and had a save-the-date line that did not match Eventbrite. Quote the live pages. The next weekend is theirs to post.
