When citrus actually blooms
Orange County's name is not a bloom calendar. Citrus bloom here is a spring window.
Florida Bee Botany, UF/IFAS, puts orange, trifoliate orange (Poncirus), and mandarin bloom in March and April. That is the cited window for those three. It is not a year-round orange story, and it is not a harvest number.
What Florida Honey Bee Plants actually names
- **March–April.** Orange, Poncirus, mandarin. That is the citrus bloom line on the paper.
- **Not a year-round crop.** A grove can look green in August. Bloom is still the spring window.
- **Not a harvest figure.** This page does not invent pounds of orange honey. Sellers keep their own numbers.
